My goal is to be well rounded when it comes to what I read and what I share with you. I do realize that is not always the case. With that being said, what kinds of books do you like to read? What kinds of books would you like me to share with you? Do you like the direction I am currently going? Would you prefer more diverse course of reviews? Are you finding books you want to read via what I post on here or am I talking to myself?
Basically I want to be sure I am keeping your interests, so let me know what is and is not working for you! I would like to hear it!
Happy Reading!
I'm a pretty straight line horror/science fiction/fantasy reader with an occasional general fiction mixed in. With that being said, I love to hear about books that I might not read normally from other peoples perspectives and opinions.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mitch. I am the same way I enjoy hearing how much someone likes a book or how it has intrigued them, and that is always my goal when I share. Sometimes you want to love a book because someone you know loves it so you give it a go...and sometimes you do love it and sometimes you don't. But I have never found a book that wasn't worth the effort. I may have decided it was not for me, but that does not mean it was not worth a try.
DeleteI really like the wide array of genres you are using. That being said, I had no interest in the one from August and pretty much skipped it. I think that could happen with any book club, and if all we were doing was reading Debbie Macomber or Stephen King, I'd get bored. I am kind of all over the place with what I read anyway. I love adult mysteries and ya fantasy and westerns and classics...I'm schizophrenic about books. I think you should keep going how you're going and if you want to, maybe get a tally of interest/non interest when you post the list for the next several books. Rachel
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent idea Rachel thank you!! I try to ask for input right before I start making the list and I try to put the posted books in my list. But I like the tally idea for everyone to vote on the likelihood of them actually reading the book of the month
