  1. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the movie on this one. I read the books just before seeing the movie, so it was pretty fresh in my mind. I remember having one sticking point for details, which was how the gifts from sponsors were delivered. It just didn't seem right with what I envisioned. Of course, my second sticking point was the relationship with Peeta and Katniss. It didn't feel one sided enough for me, I think. It was like Peeta wasn't involved. He was just there-if that makes sense. Overall, I would say I was pleased with the movie and skeptical about the second and 3rd/4th, but I've been enjoying the series. I was impressed by the arena, the preparation, and Katniss at home, which could have been glossed over by movie standards but felt very true to the books.

    1. I agree. I was REALLY apprehensive after the Twilight debauchery. but the cast was very well chosen I felt...though I will not lie, not a huge Josh Hutchinson fan. He was not the blond I envisioned, but I cannot have it my way all the time.

I do remember that there were a few things in the movie that was different in the book. But nothing to make me say "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!" (Like I literally did while watching Harry Potter when Harry and Ginny first kissed, and even their whole relationship. I was pissed to say the least)

I have not watched the 2nd movie yet...I am scared to honestly. But I know I will eventually.
