Were you a fan of The Hunger Games series? I was, and still am. I came across a list via (none other than) Pinterest and I have looked it over and feel like it is good enough to share with you.

We actually have discussed a few of these series already so it makes me proud that I have already scoped a few of these out. But check it out and maybe there are a few books that you want to read to feed your Hunger from the withdrawal of The Hunger Games (Before the movie comes out. Even though they may butcher it compared to the book I will still be there to see it happen.)

Speaking of films butchering books (I actually thought the first Hunger Games did a good job), if you like YA fantasy, I fully recommend the Percy Jackson series. The first film mangled it, and I haven't had any interest in seeing the second, but the book series (5 total) does a great job of presenting the Greek gods in a new, current way with the son of Poseidon being the unwitting hero.
ReplyDeleteI have not read that series, but I did hear that they killed the book in the movie. So I do not have a desire to watch it. But I will check out the books!
